Naughty VanessaVanessa Anne Hudgens. The favourite of the teens throughout the world. High School Musical and High Musical 2 as well as her singing career made her a promising star to contend with. In fact, she was just a whisker away from that wholesome good girl image when Lindsay Lohan crashed out.
But then fate would not let her have that image. She will be no successor to Lindsay Lohan. In fact this first week of September, she surpassed Lindsay. She became the most sought item on the internet. Everyone was desperately googling for her nude photos which apparently was put there by her ex-boy bot Zack Efrom.
The scandal did break loose and Vanessa admitted it was truly herself in those photos and that those photos were meant to be private and never meant to be made public. It was most unfortunate that it has taken place. Disney immediately took her off from High School Musical 3.
Knowing kwei-lor and Hollywood, this is Vanessa's coming out ball. She will become the more famous and sought after because of these photos. What do you think wll be next. Full photo layouts of Vanessa in the buff in Playboy? Most likely so, as she has nothing to lose and everything to gain.
Vanessa in the nude is sensitively beautiful, beguilingly sexy and magnetically attractive. The more you look at her, the more her innocence appeals to you. One pretty woman!

Perfect Stranger: Absolute ConfusionI believe the critics. Halle Berry is quite definitely going for this year's Razzies.
Again, another movie with a twist that cannot be delivered with satisfaction. I think Hollywood is running out of DePalmas and Hitchcocks.
It started off running as the chase is on for a scoop on a scandal only to lose steam as Halle's Rowena was stopped in her tracks because her piece could not be published because "the powerful were protecting the powerful".
Then they broaden the story to include other characters, diluting the suspense by including murder and attempted rape. Red herrings from computer technology hacking to a shrine erected by a crush-smitten colleague were placed in the second part of the film. Bruce Willis's Harrison Hill character was the absolute red herring. His mohawkian hairstyle is a laugh.
The love making scene where Berry shows her hottiness was also devoid of sexiness and a waste of good celluloid.
No suspense. No fun. Another bad outing for Halle Berry.

The Lake House: You Got Mail in the Twilight Zone
Based loosely on the Korean movie, Il Mare, The Lake House is a pedestrian B-Grade movie. Keanu Reeves and Sandra Bullock put on their most wooden performance in a movie where the plot lines are not only weak but increasingly irritating as the movie moves on to its hard-to-accept totally unrealistic conclusion.
Like Premonition, Sandra is wont to play roles where there is a time zone confusion. Always showing her sad doleful eyes;always the underdog that will never win at love for long, Sandra is going to be type-casted if she is not careful. Or are there too few movies around that is seeking her looks and her talents.
The Lake House is one forgettable movie. Save your money.

The Simpsons MovieWell it was fun while it lasted. See more Homer and Bart antics in this full film version as Homer battles the population of Springfields and the Environment Protection Agency(EPA).
The plot is nothing to shout about but the fun is certainly in the cheeky parodies on movies, songs and even on church going-ons. See how the animals from Cinderella have been utilised for the romantic interlude between Marge and Homer with Bambi and mother in attendance.Hear the Spiderman theme song being made into Spider Pig song. Happy Together is being used for Homer and his pig-dance. Even Harry Potter could not escape Homer's pig-play pantomine.
The Simpsons Movie is an absolute A Grade movie.
Go and enjoy it at the cinema and laugh yourself silly.
