The Passion for Possession

I noticed most people have one inherent weakness. They covet.

It does not matter what. It can be a material thing or otherwise. They want to live in a mansion and own properties in choice areas. They want to be driven in the latest Mercedes. If the are buying a sports car, it has to be a Lamborghini, Ferrari, Porsche or Lotus.

Then they have other toys to play with as well. They would love to be a member of a yacht club. As such, they would buy luxurious boats and yachts to be moored in a respectable marina. With friends in high places, they would go sailing in international waters.

It can be also the possession of things beautiful. For example they want to marry a trophy wife. They want to be seen in the company of young, nubile and beautiful ladies.

Their wants and demands to possess is never ending. As long there is money coming in torrents, they will be on a spree.

So that is the life of the rich and famous. no, not of the rich and stingy. They are no longer relevant. The new rich knows what to do with money. Money is what money does. Use it! Flaunt it! Get what you want now - wine, women and song.

They want to win
