Chinese New Year Day 2008A late night after the eve midnight whisky and walk. So got up,sleepy-headed at almost 10 am. Spent a quiet day at home. The family spent their time glued to the TV set!
Went to the the nearby 7-11 and Shell Station to get a newspaper but managed to get the last copy of the Malay Mail-more a toilet paper but has to do this day! The STAR and NST was completely sold out.
Answered SMS greetings and emails. Phoned Daddy to wished him Happy and Blessed CNY and informed him that I will not be home this year for the celebration but elder brother, Jimmy, youngest sister Iriene and brother Edwin will by home to represent the siblings on the second day.
Also phoned Jimmy, Iriene, Elder Sister and Edwin to wish them the very best of the new year of the rat!
Stayed home and watched some videos to while away the time. Saw Atonement, Rendition, The Hunting Party, The Assassination of Jesse James by the Coward, Robert Ford. Atonement was a wonderful movie, gripping and suspenseful!
